Dear Santa

My Christmas wish list:

I would be one happy momma :)

Baby it's cold outside!

So peeps, I'm just going to start by saying I LOVE CHRISTMAS TIME!!! Our decorations are up, shopping is almost done, and we had a awesome trip home to Idaho for some holiday fun! Now Madison is just waiting for it to snow so santa can come as she says. This year we will be spending Christmas at our house for the first time! Tyler can't get time off to leave so we will be starting our own traditions and Maddie will get to wake up to Christmas morning in her own house! It will be a lot of fun but sad we can't be at the Craig's with the rest of the fam. Here's our house with some Christmas spirit!

Thanksgiving with the Moore's!

This year Tyler and I hosted Thanksgiving dinner at our house since traveling to Idaho wasn't really an option. We had his family come visit along with our good friends Morgan, Jesse and their newborn Rylee! She is only a month older then Raegan so we loved having some baby time! We had some major Dallas Cowboy fans in our house so of course the game was a huge part of thanksgiving! My mother-in-law did most the cooking and it was delissssssh! :)

My baby is 3!

I'm falling behind again on my posts but better late then never, right? :)

3 fun things to know about Maddie:

1. She loves to dress up all day long! This includes putting on make up, doing her hair (sometimes my hair), changing her princess dresses every 5 minutes, and painting her nails.

2. She is extremely smart! I know every parent probably says this about their child but I really think Maddie is one smarty farty. She can't wait to start school and thinks if she eats her veggies that she will get to go sooner ;)

3. At the moment she is a little obsessed with Yo Gabba Gabba....it's a little irritating to listen to but oh well...she could seriously watch it all day long.

Madison had a little birthday party on her special day and of course she loved having all the attention on her! Our house was filled with balloons, everything princess, face painting, and yummy snacks! Tyler's family was in town for thanksgiving so we were lucky to get to celebrate with them! Here's some pictures from her fun night!

The best Cinnamon Roll recipe !

My older sister Sar has turned into the most amazing cook and shares the best recipes with me! This being one of them! Seriously try them...they are to die delish!!!

2/3 Cup of sugar
1/4 Cup of vegetable oil
6 Cups of flour
1 1/2 Tablespoon of yeast
1 1/2 Teaspoon of salt

Cinnamon paste:
2 Cups of brown sugar
1 Cup of butter
4 Tablespoons of cinnamon

-Dissolve the sugar in the water. Add yeast, then add salt & oil, and then 1 cup of flour at a time.
-Put dough in an oiled bowl. Let sit for 1 hour, punching and kneading it.
-Roll out dough
-Spread cinnamon paste
-Then roll up tightly. Cut out 2 " rolls (Preferably using dental floss, works great!)
-Cover and let rise in a pan for 1/2 hour.
-Bake at 350 degrees for 15- 20 minutes!

Raegan Mae!

Raegan Mae Moore! Born October 9th, 2011! Only 2 days after her momma's birthday!
She was 7 pounds 4 ounces and 21 inches long!

Birth Story:

My family and I love to be there for each other when one of us has a kid so I had to plan this out just right to have Sarah, Em, and my mom there due to work schedules and what not. Well I guessed that Raegan would come 1 week early because Madison came exactly 7 days early, so everyone went ahead and bought plane tickets for the weekend of Oct 7, 8, and 9th. My mom took work off that weekend and had to be back not later then the 11th! Sarah also had to be back the 11th since she has 3 little ones of her own. Well I was starting to freak out a little bit because the 7th and 8th went by and no baby :( There was no way I was putting my family back on a plane home and still being pregnant! So on the night of the 8th I had heard that if you stimulate your nipples it can start something...so of course I got out my breast pump! Haha it felt a little ridiculous but who knows right? Well 1 hour later my water broke! I have no idea if it was just coincidence but I was super excited that everyone was going to be here to see Raegan be born!

Anyway, around 3 am on the morning of the 9th, Tyler and I went to the hospital. I had taken my time showering and getting ready before hand since I knew it could be a long process...but OH MY GOODNESS talk about a long labor! When we got there we had this horrible, most annoying on call doctor of my life tell us that I needed to just wait it out and see what my body did on its own. I tried to just go to sleep but when your water has broke and your leaking everywhere it's a little hard to just tune everything out. Around 8 or 9 a.m. after no dilation they finally started me on pitocin!

But even that was not starting anything! They kept turning it up but nothing was going on! So around 3 p.m they really kicked it into gear and then I was in some serious pain! Those contractions were kicking my butt so what do I do... Hello epidural! I was dilated to 4 cm so I felt that was good enough to give in. Then of course the anesthesiologist takes FOREVER!!! Like 45 minutes of missing the center of my spine and some really annoying pain I'm finally feeling good! Anyway nothing too exciting happened after that except for a lot of waiting. Then around 8 p.m. doctor comes in to check me and do a "trial" push...well dang there was no need for a trial push ! As soon as I went to crunch up little Raegan's head was out! I felt like they should have came and checked me a whole lot sooner but at least I didn't have to push at all! In comparison to Madison's 3 hours of pushing, Raegan's delivery was amazingly easy.

We then only stayed the 1 night in the hospital and got to go home to my sisters and my mom who had cleaned and cooked up a bunch of meals! I am so thankful for my family! Seriously I don't know what I would do with out them! My mom made sure everything was comfortable, clean and easy for me before she left. Sarah made sure I was getting all my meals and helped me A TON get the hang of breastfeeding. And then E totally took care of my Madison! I felt so spoiled but loved every minute they were here (even when Em and Sar were out jogging when I clearly could not) ;)

So yea that about does it...now we are just enjoying watching Raegan grow but not so much enjoying being sleep deprived. I know this time goes by so quickly but seriously I love my sleep. Praying we are just around the corner to some 6-7 hour stretches...instead of these 2-3.

It's that time again...

Well, I thought I had left this blog for dead but decided I have too much to share with my favorite peeps to just up and leave. So, here's to me trying to keep this thing going.

Where has the time gone first of all? I can not believe this month my little baby is turning 3 years old! I guess I should say she's not so much a baby anymore and turning into quite the little lady. Also Raegan was born October 9th and is already 1 month! The days sure do fly by. Anyway here is a brief catching up sesh.

1. Tyler is still getting through school and flying on missions. Which means I go home to Idaho ALOT! Last summer he was gone on a 3 month stage in Kuwait so I was at home with family and friends all summer! I had a lot of fun traveling around and seeing everyone!

2. I had an amazing sister weekend trip to Bear Lake, UT last July! I was so lucky to get to spend time with our oldest sibling Jeni! I can't explain how much we all enjoyed being together! We definitely plan on doing this more often!

3. My dad has been married for 1 year ! I am so thankful for Keri and all she does for him! Her and her boys Sam and Austin make the best additions to the fam!

4. My little brother got married last winter to a cute gal named Tiffany. She also has a 2 year old little boy! More cousins for Maddie and Raegs!

5. We have 2 1/2 years left in the military...counting down the days already.

6. Washington is still rainy and depressing in the winter and well most of the year.

7. I have been loving redecorating our home lately! Madison and Raegans rooms were a lot of fun to do! Maddie got a big girl room finally and Raegans nursery is full of fun jungle animals with green and pink colors! I also got really excited with all the holiday decor !

8. I gained a bunch of pregnancy weight with Raegan so over the next 6 months I am dedicated to eating healthy and running like crazy.

9. I am in love with the TV show Vampire Diaries !! Thursday nights are the best!

10. My amazing twin sissy left not too long ago after staying with us for over 3 weeks! She really helped me adjust to long sleepless nights and crazy active days! We also had Tyler's parents come 3 times last month, my older sis Sar, my mom, and my awesome friend Camille! Our house was pretty busy but lots of fun!

Ok, that pretty much catches us up so lets move on. :)
