2010 Update

Well, as I layed down my little Maddie moo for her morning nap, I was trying to determine what I should do with my couple of hours of quiet time! So, I've decided I should really update this thing!

I haven't really shared much of this years happenings, so I might as well just recap all of 2010! WOW have we been busy!! We kicked off the year with a mission call for Tyler to Hawaii, Austrailia, Diego Garcia, and many other places. He was gone for 3 weeks in Jan. and had a great time seeing different parts of the world. I on the hand, missed him like crazy but occupied myself with a trip home to Idaho and a trip to Scottsdale, AZ to see my grandparents! I flew down there with my dad, sister em, and Maddie! Madison loved being down in the warm weather and especially loved all the swimming! I am so grateful that I am able to go home and get the help from my family while Tyler is out of town.

When we finally got back to our home in WA, we got back to our normal routine of Tyler working long hours, doing his school work, and preparing for his QC. His busy schedule made it very hard for him to leave for the Air Force wrestling team this year. We were all a little bummed when he had to make the decision to skip this year and focus more on work and school. After a very stressful couple of weeks, it was so nice to take off for our annual Sun Valley, ID trip with my whole family over Presidents day weekend. Tyler's mother was so amazing to watch Maddie during the 4 days we were there. It was so nice to spend that time with Tyler and do so many fun activites. We snowboarded, went snowmobiling, hot tubbing, ate so much good food, and enjoyed just staying in the cabins playing games with the fam. I am already counting down the days for next years trip!

This year we were also informed that I was pregnant with baby #2! Tyler and I were so overjoyed with this news and let out everyone know very quickly! We had so many emotions running through us and couldn't believe how blessed we were to have another little baby! However, at week 10 I started having symptoms of hormone imbalances and when I went into the doctor to see if everything was ok I learned that I had miscarried the baby. It was a very emotional time for Tyler and I but we are moving forward and hoping for the best!

Currently Tyler is away in Texas finishing up 7-level school and I am again home in Idaho for 2 weeks. Ty is also still trucking away with school credits and enjoying being a Raven for the airforce. We are also in the process of buying a house and should be moving sometime in May or June!

We have been so blessed with how wonderful our life is together and the opportunities we are faced with. I couldn't imagine my life without my amazing husband and perfect little girl. We have lots of plans for this upcoming year and can't wait to see what the future holds!
