Today is Madison's 1st Birthday!!!!!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY MADISON JO MOORE!!!!!
We are celebrating her birthday with cake and presents when Ty's family comes to visit for thanksgiving next week. But I will post a couple pictures of her in her birthday dress and playing with the one present we did let her open today later. I am so blessed with this little girl and can not imagine our lives without her!
Oh and for those that don't know... she is officially walking! She never gets down to crawl anymore, so that has been exciting!
Be grateful. Be smart. Be clean. Be true. Be humble. Be prayerful.

Pumpkins and the lake!
Once again, I find myself slipping behind on my blogs that I try so hard to keep up-to-date! Well just really fast I wanted to share some pictures of Maddie at the pumpkin patch in Idaho! Grandpa Dave took us to pick out some pumpkins and man did we get our share! We overloaded this year and that then resulted in not carving them because we ran out of time! But we did end up carving some pumpkins when we returned home in WA and Maddie had so much fun playing with it all.
We also made a trip out to Minnesota to visit great g-ma and g-pa McWilliams! I have made so many memories at their cabin by the lake so I really enjoyed letting Maddie explore outside and see what there is to see. I got to visit with my favorite Aunt Sandy and Uncle Paul and see my grandma's sisters as well. I can't wait to see everyone again at the wedding in June!

21 Candles
YaY! I am finally 21! I am not sure why I was so excited about this birthday because I am not a drinker but there is just something about turning 21 that makes you feel older! I was able to come home to Idaho for my birthday so I was really grateful that Em and I got to share our birthday together with some great friends! My dad treated us to to dinner at one of my favorite spots Barbacoa! Thanks to everyone that was able to make it! It was so much fun! My mother-in-law was kind enough to watch Madison so that we could have a great time eating and talking without the worry of my little girl grabbing everything in sight.
Now that my birthday has come and gone, I am so excited for the fall season and all of the holidays that are coming up! I love where my birthday falls in the year. I hope to get some canning done this month along with lots of fall crafts and decorations! I am also looking forward to taking Maddie to pumpkin patch this year for the first time and for our trip to Minnesota. Those postings will be up soon! :)

Filling you in...!
Well, I have finally come to realize that there really isn’t as much activity in my blog as I would like there to be. Therefore, I need to step up my game and update you all with more events and daily stories. I would love to print out my blog one day and give it to my daughter so she can have all my entries to read and look back on. Anyway, with that said I should inform you all that my family and I moved to South Hill, WA almost 2 months ago (Tacoma/Seattle area) and we are still adjusting to the move. It is a beautiful place and we love all the things there are to do here! It’s also only a 6 hour drive from our hometown Nampa, ID or a 1 hour flight so we love that we can see our fam more often. In this upcoming month Tyler will be heading off to Raven school in New Jersey for 2 weeks while Maddie and I go back to Idaho to visit my family and also a trip to Minnesota to visit my grandparents by the lake! It will be hard to be away from daddy for 2 weeks but we have some fun things planned!
Another big event that happened recently was Tyler’s big achievement about a month ago. He was promoted to Staff Sergeant in the AF and we are so proud of his hard work and dedication to his job. Wrestling season is also coming up this winter and we can’t wait to watch him and see how great he will be this year.
Madison is just getting so old and knows it. She will be 1 in November and we can’t wait to throw a little party for her. Some new things about her is that she is constantly on the move. She crawls everywhere and occasionally takes a few steps. She pulls herself up on everything and wants to play with anything in sight! She also says ma-ma, dada, and baba (for her bottle). I love her so much and can’t believe how fast she is growing up.
As for me, I am still enjoying being a stay at home mom but I have also enrolled myself in night classes so that I can continue getting my degree in Elementary Education which I was started on before I had Maddie. Hopefully I will finish that up before we set our sights on having our 2nd child. However, I am so baby hungry and feel the urge for another newborn! Next year I also plan on working part time at the Child Developmental Center while going to school so that Madison can get out of the home environment and make some friends her age.
Well, that’s that for the update on us and I plan on sharing more then just every couple months! So stay tuned ! Also here’s some new pictures!

Swimming lessons
Well, since Madison's auntie Em is a swim instructor that only meant that Maddie HAD to take swimming lessons at only 8 months old. She loved every bit of being in the water and playing with the little toys they handed out. We can't wait until she is a little swimming pro, diving and doing backflips into the water!

Madison is 6 months!
I can not believe that our little Maddie Moo is already 6 months! She is half way to her 1st birthday! I have already purchased her new convertable car seat since she has outgrown her infant carrier. These days seem to just FLY by! I already miss how little she was when she came home from the hospital, I can't even imagine how I am going to feel when she is a teenager telling me that I am not "cool enough" to hang out with her and her friends. I just love her so so so so mcuh!!!!

Race for the Cure
May 9th was the 5K race for the cure for breast cancer which is something my mother-in-law participates in every year. This was her 10th year ! Maddie and I joined her and my father-in-law and her work buddies to walk the 5K. It was a beautiful day and so much fun! And check out the CUTE outfit Gerrie made Maddie.

Easter!!!
Unfortunatly Tyler and I were away in Vegas for wrestling nationals during the weekend and we were flying back Easter Sunday. My mom was kind enough to watch Maddie for us so that we didn't have to take her to dirty Vegas and have her watch the tournaments all day. But when we returned home late Sunday night my mom made us a great Sunday dinner and we had cake along with chocolate bunnies of course! Maddie was so excited to see us!! My mom did take her to the Easter bunny on Saturday and here is the picture of her on his lap.
She doesn't really know what to think.

Denver Aquarium
Well, our little family of 3 decided to take a little trip to Denver on Saturday (it's only 50 miles away) and visit the aquarium! Maddie loves looking at bright things and going places so we figured she would have a blast! The drive there was so relaxing! Maddie slept the whole time! When we arrived the line was so long and we waited for about 30 mins. We ended up eating lunch at a really fun restaurant and touring the place for about 2 hours! Maddie slept probably 80% of the time. Ha. We got to see so many cool looking fish, sharks, and even TIGERS! Tyler fed the sting rays and then MADE me touch one! So that was an experience!
When we got back to the Springs we stopped at our friends house to eat dinner and play with the kids and then home for a very much needed night sleep! Maddie was so good all day and even better at night! She went to bed at 8 and didn't wake up until 7:15..just in time to get ready for church! We LOVE that she is sleeping all night now!!! Here some pics of our little adventure!

Moving on to solids!
Maddie had her first experience with solids last night! Wahoo! We gave her about a table spoon of rice cereal and she loved it! She wasn't sure how to swallow it or use her tongue but once she got the hang of it she didn't want to stop! She is only 4 months old but we started her out a little early because she just wasn't getting satisfied...So now she is now sleeping from 9 p.m. to about 6 a.m. instead of waking up for 3 or 4 a.m. feedings! YAYYY!

Armed Forces
This past weekend Tyler competed in a one of the many wrestling tournaments he has been preparing himself for the past couple of months. It was the Armed Forces Tournament which meant he wrestled 3 guys... One from the Navy, Army, and Marines. Out of those matches Tyler ended up getting 2nd and winning a silver medal! We are so proud of him!!! He was one of the first wrestlers in the airforce to win a medal at the Armed Forces in many years!
We were all in Mountain Home all weekend to support him, including Maddie and her adorable Air Force Wrestling outfit that Grandma Gerrie made her!
Now that the tournament is over we are leaving Idaho and headed back to Colorado. Hopefully we will be back to visit sometime in the Spring.

Wrestling!!!
As most of you know, Tyler has been giving an amazing opportunity to wrestle full time for the Air Force and has been training at the Olympic Training Center down in Colorado. Well for the past couple of weeks he has been in Mountain Home, ID for a wrestling camp and we were blessed enough to have this camp be right next to home for us! So while tyler has been wrestling I have been able to see my family! It's been great! Maddie and I drive out to mountain home every once in a while to watch daddy wrestle and he has been doing awesome!!! Today he has his wrestle offs and he won 4 out of 4 matches! WE ARE SO PROUD OF HIM!! :) Here are some great pictures of him.. He is the one in the blue.
